'Behind The Lines' is a photographic exhibition of portraits of British poets photographed around London by Liam Davenport. Our exhibition of Davenport's photography begins on the 16th August and runs for 2 weeks until 28th August. Come down between 9am and 5.30pm Monday - Saturday.
White Cross Street Party
Whitecross Street will be host to a summer of street fun. From 24th July till 5th September the street will be transformed into an open-air art gallery. The exhibition will offer visitors a chance to view work from highly respected urban artists such as Gavin Turk, Shephard Fairey and Paul Insect. To add to the fun, a street party will take place on the weekend of July 24th and 25th offering street art, street food and street entertainment. There will be art demonstrations, art workshops, giant knitting and other crazy things for all ages to enjoy. To make things even better, it is all free!

There are now 69 graduates for every graduate job compared to 49 last year – three-quarters of graduate employers say they now require at least a 2:1 degree according to the BBC. In our experience for newly qualified architectural grads with Part 1 this number is somewhat more severe, and can extend to in excess of 90 people for every year out role often with practices suggesting that it will be on a month by month basis. A salary of £14,400 is the minimum a single person needs for an acceptable standard of living, including not only basics like food and housing, but also essentials such as spending on mobile phones, internet access and socialising.
