I would like to extend a personal note on the recently deceased Dennis Sharp. Dennis was my history of architecture tutor as a student at UCL, and he was an absolute fountain of knowledge. He had a good sense of humour and was a terrific tutor, and one of the leading advocates of 'Modernism,' in the UK. He saw it as a living entity and had tremendous passion for the subject. He made a great impression on me as a student all those years ago and I am honoured to say a friend in later life. A lovely gentlemen who will be greatly missed.
