An established governing body is seeking a CPD Assessments Coordinator to join one of their joint ventures, in providing a free and low cost assessed training to architects and other construction professionals. The purpose of this post is to coordinate the assessment of material and assist & implement the department's work. It is important to be able to process this smoothly and adhere to the agreed deadlines for the assessments. This is a very busy and pressured role. The post holder will be expected to work closely with all parties of the governing body. You will be required to regularly revise and update the assessment guidelines for the providers and assessors, & devise guidance for new types of the delivery, while simplifying their systems and procedures for the assessment. You will also be required to deal with the full life cycle of the assessment process, & have total responsibility of the management of assessors. Other duties will include sending out a monthly list of newly approved material to the teams, producing high quality, accurate and professionally presented documentation, keeping up with trends in architecture and the construction industry and attending departmental committee meetings and attending other meetings or conducting visits as delegated. You will be required to have excellent communication skills, both oral and written and have experience in reading technical and/or academic reports and analysing and distilling information for others to read. Architecture training to at least at Part 1 is desirable and proven experience within a similar role is a must.
