We are looking for a consultant with 3-5 years experience in FMCG structural packaging design/design management consulting to lead the development of an established consultancies visual strategy capability within their growing packaging team. You will have experience of: • 3-5 years in FMCG structural packaging design/design management consulting • Leading small teams • Combining analytical and intuitive thinking • Systematically breaking down and analysing a problem, and working creatively to develop a process to solve it • Situating subject matter within a wider context • Synthesising consumer insight, design/lifestyle trends and brand/semiotic analysis into design directions • Working within the constraints of brand strategy, commercial objectives and technical requirements • Developing cogent points of view and visually compelling design language strategies • Juggling projects, priorities and resources • Managing project budgets • Communicating recommendations in a clear, well structured and visually engaging manner • Delivering presentations to senior client audiences • Writing successful proposals Your main priorities will be to: • Leading multidisciplinary teams of 3-7 people, which also includes both internal people and external partners • Understand and develop cogent points of view on our clients’ key issues • Work with senior team members to facilitate and guide client teams through project processes • Deliver insightful, strategic and compelling presentations to senior management audiences • Help develop their key accounts by being responsive to client needs, pro-active on new opportunities and gathering intelligence on their business • Develop visual strategy processes, tools and resources • Coach junior staff in the development of their capabilities If you're interested, please don't hesitate to send your cv and examples of work as a pdf. We're interested in hearing from brilliant Senior Industrial Designers with more engineering sensitivities. You'll be part of a multi - disciplinary design team and be responsible for the design, development and detailing of outstanding new products from the upstream stages of the design process through to production. You'll need to be able to Research, Sketch well at the concept stage, Create 3D CAD models in Solidworks and produce engineering production drawings (where applicable). You're approach to design will be key and we are interested in Senior Designers who believe in taking an Empathic and User - Centric approach to their work. An BA / BSc industrial design degree is essential as well as a minimum of five years commercial experience.
